BC Hydro – Bone Creek Substation
Hanna Infrastructure achieved the design, construction, and commissioning of a 2000 sq/ft building, housing GIS switchgear for the transmission network. Located near a run-of-the-river hydroelectric facility in a mountainous valley North of Blue River, the project included site and civil works, structural steel building, cladding, fencing, and extensive electrical installations. This accomplishment highlights our proficiency in delivering comprehensive infrastructure solutions, enhancing operational efficiency in challenging environments.

Hanna Infrastructure successfully replaced multiple circuit breakers and made modifications to circuit switchers in a fully operational 500-kilovolt substation. Our scope covered foundations, cable trenching, removal, and replacement of electrical equipment, ensuring seamless operations. This accomplishment underscores our proficiency in executing precise modifications within critical infrastructure, demonstrating a commitment to efficient and reliable solutions.
